Step by Step Tutorial to build your own Basketball Hoop game

Make the Base

Make a hexagon with equilateral tiles for the base

Make the Wall for the base

Use the square tiles to make the wall for the base making it stand upright along the base and collect the balls

Build the base for the balls to pass by

Place three square tiles next to each other. Place an additional square tile above the middle tile.

Now let's build the next level by placing the square tiles upright on all the tiles except the middle one from the first row as shown in the picture

Build 2nd Layer

Build the second layer by placing square tiles along the green line

Make sure to place the beam break sensor tiles directly opposite each other in the central column while forming the path for the ball return.

To ensure the ball passes through properly add the isosceles triangle tile and build the next layer similarly as the bottom one

Make the ramp for the ball to pass through

Build Spout for the ball and external structure

Start building the spout for the game with one inverted isosceles tile and two square tiles stacked on top of each other and then another isosceles tile next to it.

Add Counter and LED Tile

Form a cube along the right and left columns with the led tile and 7 segment tiles facing outwards.

Finish the top basket for the game

Form the “basket” in any shape that you want at the top of the structure.

Plug in the wires

Plug in the wires from the beam break tile into port 1, led tile into port 2, and 7 segment tile into port 7 on the brain.

Every time a basket is made and the ball passes the beam break sensor tiles (breaking the beam), the led tile will light up and the 7 segment will count up by a value of 1.
Turn on the brain and connect to your computer via Bluetooth.
Upload the code and score some baskets!
